We've been serving Holland, Zeeland, and West Michigan since 2010. Today the practice is two doctors, a small support team, and an in-house optical shop — all in one building off Washington Avenue.
Pediatric Ophthalmologist · MD, Board Certified
Dr. Lisa Vredevoogd
Dr. Vredevoogd has been practicing pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus in West Michigan for over 20 years. She founded Eyes to See in 2010 after years at Great Lakes Eyecare.
She earned her MD with honors from the University of Colorado School of Medicine, completed a general surgery internship at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, her ophthalmology residency at the University of Kentucky, and a one-year fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus at the University of Montreal. Early in her career she spent four years as a general ophthalmologist and volunteered providing eye care in Bulgaria.
Specialty focus: medical ophthalmologic care of children, adult strabismus (simple and complex), nasolacrimal duct obstruction, and periorbital lesions including dermoid cysts and chalazii. She holds staff positions at Zeeland Community Hospital, Spectrum Health, and Holland Hospital, and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus and the Christian Medical and Dental Association.

Dr. Kelly Borgman
Dr. Borgman is a pediatric optometrist with extensive experience diagnosing and treating children with strabismus, amblyopia, and ocular disease. She joined Eyes to See in 2025.
A Michigan native, she completed her undergraduate studies at Michigan State University and her Doctor of Optometry at the New England College of Optometry in 2007. Before returning home to West Michigan, she spent 16 years in Louisville, KY — her entire career has been focused on pediatric and adolescent optometry.
Dr. Borgman is married with two children.

A small office that's constantly growing — and stays small on purpose.
We founded the practice in 2010 and relocated from Zeeland to our current Holland location a few years later. It's intentionally a small setting: we care about each patient, their story, and the problem they came in with. You don't hand off between rotating residents here.
Our mission is simple: use world-class eye care to empower and delight children and adults with strabismus. We try to hold ourselves to honesty, humility, integrity, and excellence — in how we treat patients, communicate with primary care physicians, and run the front of the house.
